ABC RADIO INTERVIEW... Recently Gunilla Miranda had the wonderful opportunity to be interviewed by Scott Levi and Yianni Johns live on ABC Radio, SmartArts programme. They discussed her latest book From Nobel Prize to Rideon mower. She also elaborated on her upcoming world tour to London, New York, Beijing amongst others where she will appear for book signing and guest speaking.
NEW EDITORIALIST AT VLT
The circle is complete. 25 years ago I worked
for the daily paper, VLT. Then my career took me to Expressen, Dina Pengar, Eget Foretag etc and then further out in the world to Australia and now I'm back in Sweden for a couple of months.
During this summer I'll be one of VLT's editorialists. I'm really looking forward to re-establish a dialogoue with my old readers again.
You can read my first column early June and onwards.

New York Book fair 2010
The correct name is American Book Expo. I’m very happy to have attended this fair and I made a few interesting contacts. However, this book fair is a far more national event, meaning American, than both the fair in London and Frankfurt. There are very little international presence. In total the fair had about 21, registered visitors.
The highlight of the fair was the many interesting seminars. I especially attended seminars regarding Ebooks. Michael Norris presented some key findings and e-book myth-busting data from Simba’s latest report, Trade E-Book Publishing 2010.
A panel – a publisher, a bookseller, a multimedia book creator, and an attorney –discussed some of the practical and legal implications surrounding the creation of so-called “enhanced” ebooks – a new multimedia medium that takes the original text of the book and adds additional content (video, text, photos, etc.)
Tomorrow’s Library in a World of Digits: Publishers and Librarians shared concerns, ideas and opinions. The undercurrent between publishers and librarians was evenly disputatious prior to the explosion and mainstreaming of digital content. Today, there is a general fear over each other’s role and reaction as digits begin to replace print in the collections of libraries throughout the world.
London Book Fair 2010
The Icelandic volcano and its ash forced Gunilla Miranda to spend time at airports instead of the Book Fair. Next opportunity to meet with Gunilla Miranda is in The U.S where she will give several talks.

Frankfurt Book Fair 2009
Gunilla Miranda has had an exciting time at the
recent Frankfurt Book Fair, launching her latest

The fair itself is the biggest book fair in the world; with morethan 7,000 exhibitors from over 100 countries, so it
was a wonderful opportunity to share her story with a global audience.
